Nagaimo (Japanese Yam) |From Our Suppliers | 1.5 lb

“Tokachi Tawanishi Nagaimo” is a variety of Japanese yam. It is relatively short and shaped like a sake bottle. Its skin and peeled tuber are whiter than the other varieties of nagaimo and tend not to discolorate as much.

Nagaimo can be enjoyed in a variety of cooking. It has a crispy texture if consumed raw. If grated it becomes sticky, while baked nagaimo has a flaky texture.

If your order includes products from Suzuki Farm on GOHANMarket.com, please note that the vegetables will be shipped separately via air freight with a 2-day delivery estimate, and shipping costs will be calculated based on this separate shipment. Thank you for your understanding.
